Anne Grisham-Pleas, M.C., LMHC, SUDP
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Seattle with over 30 years of experience. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Addiction Studies from Seattle University (1991), as well as a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the same institution (1998).
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in both private practice and treatment centers specializing in substance use and co-occurring disorders. My early work focused on providing assessments, leading substance use groups, and offering individual and family therapy with an emphasis on relapse prevention.
Since earning my Master’s, I’ve concentrated on supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders by addressing the mental health and trauma issues that often underlie substance use.
These decades of experience have given me a deep understanding of how mental health, trauma, and substance use are interconnected—and how they impact not only the individual but also their relationships and families.
I support adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, codependency, or trauma, whether or not substance use is part of their history.
